The structure in this photograph is one of the ancient cliff
dwellings of the people of Mesa Verde. The flute placed on this
wall reminds us that the Native American flute is timeless.
It fits in today's society just as well as it did hundreds of
years ago.

Besides recording CD's, one of my greatest joys is performing
with my flute for live audiences. The flute has always been
regarded as a social instrument (as opposed to a ceremonial
one). It's my honor to keep this tradition alive and well.

If you would like me to play my flute for your occasion,
all you have to do is ask. Sometimes I do it for free - just
because it's the right thing to do. Sometimes I have to cover
expenses, and I ask for compensation. Other times I need
to make a living and ask to be paid. Most importantly, I just
want to share the flute, so don't be afraid to ask.
