Artist Biography
You may wonder how an artist such as myself can go from creating Country Music
to Folk, and finally to New Age style music. As a musical artist, I've learned that the most
important thing I can do for myself is to be true to who I am. I'm the kind of person
who sees life as a constant opportunity to evolve and grow. Creating music is all about
expression. As I've changed throughout the years, my music has always represented
that change. That's how I remain true to myself - to who I am.
I believe in the importance of music as therapy, and I believe in the healing power
of music. Even the country tunes that I sing for others bring a sense of happiness to
those who like that kind of music. The music becomes a vessel, allowing one to forget
life's troubles for awhile. New Age music does the same thing, only in a much -
and I feel much - deeper way. There is something very primal about the sound of the
flute. I believe that this primal energy stirs within all of us. That is why I think people are captivated by the sound of the flute - it awakens consciousness to the source, a sacred space. With my flutes, I try to provide projects which will assist others in finding
that sacred space within themselves, helping to connect them with their primal source.
